ILLINOIS — Expect clouds this weekend in the Chicago area, with some rain possible Saturday afternoon, the National Weather Service says.
There is no measurable snow in the forecast for the next week. According to the NWS, Chicago usually sees measurable snow by Nov. 16 every year -- in 75 percent of previous years, the area had already seen snow by Nov. 26. The latest date for snowfall in Chicago was in 2012, when the first measurable snow fell on Dec. 20.

Friday will be mostly cloudy, with a high near 33 degrees. On Friday night, clouds continue and the low will be 28.
Saturday brings a 30 percent chance of rain after noon. Throughout the day, it will be mostly cloudy with a high near 42. Some wind will pick up in the afternoon, with gusts up to 15 miles per hour.

On Saturday night, it will again be mostly cloudy, with a low around 30 and winds clocking in at 10-15 mph, with chances for gusts up to 25 mph.
Some sun will break through on Sunday, with a high near 39. The winds will persist at similar speeds to Saturday night. Sunday night is mostly cloudy, with a low around 37 degrees.
Monday, expect clouds again and a high near 43. And, on Monday night, there is a low of 31 and partly cloudy skies.
