Rain is possible Friday afternoon and evening, especially southeast of Interstate 55, but the rest of the weekend looks to be dry and sunny, the weather service said.
Saturday will be breezy, with gusts as high as 25 mph, and a high of 60 degrees is expected, according to the weather service. Sunday will be slightly warmer with a high of 68.

Overnight lows on Saturday may get as low as 38 degrees, and it will be coldest in outlying areas, according to the weather service. Sunday night may dip into the 40s.
Temperatures are expected to rebound early next week, the weather service said. Highs for Monday and Tuesday are both forecasted in the 70s.
