Cooler Temps This Weekend Before Warm-Up Returns

The Chicago area should see temps in the 60s and 70s this weekend before warm weather returns next week. A cold front moved through the area early Friday morning, ushering in slightly cooler temps with highs between 66 and 74 degrees on Friday. Partly cloudy skies are expected today and dry weather is in the forecast for the coming days.

On Saturday, high temps between 63 and 70 degrees are in the forecast. On Sunday, highs between 67 and 74 degrees are expected, according to the National Weather Service.

A warming trend will develop next week, according to the National Weather Service. High temps between 78 and 83 degrees are expected. Highs in the 80s for portions of the Chicago area could continue through mid-week.
