Cop Impersonator Asked For Access Codes At O'Hare: Police

Police say the man, a repeat offender, wore a Chicago PD hat, a badge, and dark blue clothes when asking for access codes at O'Hare.

CHICAGO, IL — Chicago police arrested a man Tuesday at O'Hare International Airport for impersonating an officer, reports say. Cameron Clark, 27, was taken in around 10:45 a.m., according to NBC.

Clark was allegedly asking about access codes at O'Hare, NBC reports. He was wearing a Chicago Police baseball hat, a blue shirt alike a Chicago police shirt and dark blue cargo pants.

He identified himself as a police officer and wore a badge as well, police said, according to NBC.

Authorities say he's a repeat offender and previously worked at the airport, according to CBS Chicago. Clark was observed a week earlier asking about access codes at the ID office, police said, wearing a uniform similar to a Chicago police uniform.

Clark is set for his bond hearing Wednesday.
