CHICAGO, IL — The Chicago Cubs' first baseman Anthony Rizzo has made yet another massive donation to Lurie Children’s Hospital. Rizzo delivered a $2 million check from the Anthony Rizzo Family Foundation to the hospital Tuesday.
Rizzo, who himself has struggled with Hodgkin’s lymphoma since age 18, regularly holds charity events and donates to battle cancer and help those dealing with it.
Last year, Rizzo's foundation funded a $3.5 million program to help families of children dealing with cancer.
