About Compass to Care
Compass to Care, a 501(c)(3) charitable organization, ensures children, whose families have a financial need, can access life-saving cancer treatment. 30% of children diagnosed with cancer do not have an oncologist within 60 miles of them. That’s where Compass to Care comes in. We plan the travel, and cover the costs that come with it, for families during their child’s cancer treatment. By making travel to and from the hospital free, we support the financial and emotional needs of parents while giving children the very best chance to beat cancer.
Though the majority of our support has been extended to children in the Midwest, we receive requests for assistance from across the United States. Over the past 10 years, Compass to Care has helped kids travel more than 2 MILLION miles all over the country getting to their life-saving cancer treatments.
