Modern Brain Longevity: Understanding Brain Health in a Complex World Now Available Online

In recognition of June being Alzheimer’s and Brain Awareness month, Chicago “Neurodoc” Dr. Lenny Cohen announces the release of his new e-book, Modern Brain Longevity: Understanding Brain Health in a Complex World.
A practicing neurologist board-certified by the American Association of Psychiatry and Neurology, Dr. Cohen has treated thousands of individuals over the past 15 years. While his main practice, Chicago Neurological Services, focuses on organic brain disorders ranging from simple headaches to Multiple Sclerosis, Stroke, Neuropathies, Alzheimer’s and Individuals suffering from Parkinson’s Disease, Dr. Cohen also incorporates alternative therapies into his practice such as hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) which can prolong brain longevity. Outside of hospitals, Dr. Cohen has the only standalone medical-grade hyperbaric chamber and through Lakeshore Hyperbaric Center, he is the leading authority in hyperbaric treatments throughout the Midwest. In 2019, Dr. Cohen expanded his care to serve patients needing infusions and founded The RevIVeDoc, an IV infusion center that offers infusions for cancer, MS, autoimmune disorders and migraine therapy as well as vitamins alpha-lipoic acid and NAD+ infusions.
“While traditional medicine has been on the front-line of my training and practice, I have experienced first-hand the painful limitations and weaknesses of a western-only medical approach when my father was battling Alzheimer’s,” explains Dr. Cohen. “It was only after his passing that I incorporated alternative therapies into my own practice-specifically HBOT therapy, with the ultimate goal of improving brain wellness.”

“With people living an average of 78 years in the U.S., the brain’s life has been extended longer than before and is therefore prone to age-related diseases,” adds Dr. Cohen. “Currently there are 5.7 million Americans living with Alzheimer’s disease – and this number is predicted to triple to 15 million by 2050! Alzheimer’s is the only top-10 cause of death in the U.S. with no known cure. Through this book I hope to provide an aid for your brain wellness journey.”
