Wrong-Way Driver Pushes CTA Bus Into Willis Tower
5 people, including a juvenile, were hurt in the crash.

CHICAGO, IL — Five people were hurt when a crash caused a CTA bus to crash into the base of the Willis Tower early Saturday. Chicago police said a vehicle driving the wrong way on one-way Franklin Street just before 2 a.m. Saturday when it hit a CTA bus traveling westbound on Adams. The impact caused the bus to crash into the base of the tower, which Chicago police simply referred to as a "business establishment."
Police said three adults and one juvenile went to Rush hospital in stable condition, and another adult went to Northwestern hospital in stable condition.
The driver of the vehicle that hit the bus was issued three citations, police said, for failure to produce a drivers license, no insurance, and driving the wrong way in a one-way.
