Dry, Mostly Sunny Halloween Weekend; Colder Temps On The Way

If you're heading out to trick or treat on Sunday, the weather should be dry with a high of 57 degrees.

ILLINOIS — After a rainy and blustery Friday, conditions on Saturday and Sunday should be mostly dry and sunny, according to the National Weather Service.

Showers are expected to continue Friday night, and gusts up to 35 mph along the Lake Michigan shoreline could cause minor lake shore flooding, the weather service said.

A few light showers are possible Saturday morning near the lake, but the rest of the day looks to be partly sunny with a high of 58 degrees, according to the weather service.

If you're heading out trick-or-treating for Halloween on Sunday, the weather looks dry and partly sunny with a high of 57.

With the start of November on Monday, temperatures will start to be colder with an expected high of 49 on Monday and 46 on Tuesday, the weather service said. There is also a significant freeze risk expected Sunday night through Thursday night, according to the weather service.
