Big Warmup: Temps In 60s, Dry Weekend For Illinois
This weekend also marks the end of Daylight Saving Time, so don't forget to turn your clocks back an hour.
ILLINOIS — After a week of seasonable temperatures, weather will be warmer for the weekend and as the work week begins, according to the National Weather Service.
Saturday and Sunday will both be sunny and dry, with a high of 59 on Saturday and a high of 66 on Sunday, the weather service said.
This weekend also marks the end of Daylight Saving Time, which officially occurs at 2 a.m. on Sunday. Although you can enjoy an extra hour of sleep as the clocks turn back an hour, it also means the sun will now set around 4:39 p.m. The days will continue to get shorter as we move toward the winter solstice on Dec. 21.
