Off-Duty Officers Robbed Of Police Badges In South Loop: Reports
The officers and another city employee were walking to their cars when a goggle-wearing gunman approached them, reports said.

CHICAGO, IL — A gunman in goggles robbed two off-duty Chicago Police Department officers and a city Aviation Department employee of their work IDs and badges Friday, a report said.
NBC Chicago reported the armed robbery took place around 11 p.m. on 23rd Street, near Wabash Avenue. The three employees, all women, were walking to their cars when the man approached them, according to the police report cited.
One of the officers went to pull her badge from her purse, but the suspect pointed his gun at her and told her "don't reach," the report said.

The items stolen included the two officers' CPD badges and IDs, as well as their firearm owner identification cards, reported NBC Chicago and the Sun-Times.
The gunman also stole the aviation worker's badge and ID, the report said. Police said he reportedly ran to a black and gray motorcycle and went south on Wabash Avenue. No arrests have been reported.
