CHICAGO, IL — Firefighters were called to the Blommer Chocolate Factory in the Fulton River District Tuesday afternoon. A fire official said a cooling tower on the roof was on fire. Black smoke could be seen billowing from the area, and people in nearby buildings were tweeting pictures of the smoke.
The Blommer Chocolate Factory is located at 600 W. Kinzie St. The fire was put out just after 2:30 p.m., a Chicago fire official said.
No injuries were reported. The fire department is investigating the mechanical equipment in the building, officials said.

This is the second fire reported at the chocolate factory over the past 11 days. On Nov. 3, a fire broke out in the building's equipment on the fourth floor. Fire officials said the two fires were unrelated.
