Some of them are even giving away free cups of coffee.

Beatrix (519 N. Clark St.; 671 N. St. Clair St.): $2 cups of Nitro coffee all day.

Boar's Head Cafe (210 W. Lake St.): Complimentary small La Colombe Drip Coffee in honor of National Coffee Day and the opening of the cafe's new Loop location.

Cochon Volant Brasserie (100 W. Monroe St.): A free hot coffee with any bakery purchase.

Dunkin' Donuts: Participating will offer 66-cent coffees for the day as part of National Coffee Day and the company's 66th anniversary.

Eataly (43 E. Ohio St.): A complimentary espresso or drip coffee with any pastry purchase.

Peet's: A free medium cup of drip coffee with the purchase of fresh food.

McDonald's: Download the fast food chain's app for a free small hot or cold McCafe coffee.
