Fugitives Wanted For Sex Trafficking, Assaulting Minors Arrested In Chicago Area: DOJ
Several people wanted for human trafficking, sexual assault of minors and attempted murder were recently arrested, according to authorities.

CHICAGO — Several people wanted on charges including human trafficking, sexual assault of minors and attempted murder were recently arrested in the Chicago area, according to the U.S. Marshals Service.
The federal agency Monday posted the following arrests by the Great Lakes Regional Fugitive Task Force on social media:
- Joseph Smith, arrested Sept. 13 in Chicago, wanted by Chicago police for aggravated criminal sexual assault of three minors;
- Latesha Gardner and Charles Cunigan, arrested Sept. 19 in Cicero, wanted out of eastern Louisiana for human trafficking, sex trafficking and attempted murder;
- Marque Jackson, arrested Sept. 20 in Chicago, wanted by Munster, Indiana, police for attempted murder;
- Anthony Navas and Jennifer Almodovar, arrested Sept. 20 in Chicago, wanted for aggravated battery to a police officer.
