HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK: Stormy Week Ahead for Chicago Area

The start of the work week will kick off with cooler and less humid weather. The Chicago area could also see some showers and thunderstorms throughout the daytime hours on Monday and Tuesday. On Monday, high temps between 74 and 78 degrees are in the forecast while Tuesday should see highs between 74 and 80 degrees.

A high pressure system will move across the area on Wednesday, bringing a return to warmer and humid condition. Wednesday is also expected to be the only day during the work expected to be clear of rain. The Chicago are could see high temps between 77 and 84 degrees and partly cloudy skies.

The heat and humidity is expected to continue on Thursday and Friday. Showers and thunderstorms are also possible for Thursday and Friday. High temps between 82 and 87 degrees are in the forecast for Thursday while the Chicago area could see highs between 79 and 84 on Friday.
