ACROSS ILLINOIS — Veterans Day 2021 falls on Thursday, Nov. 11. To honor Illinois veterans, Patch is asking readers to share photos and stories of the veterans they love. The tributes will be featured in an article that will be shared on Veterans Day.
Here's how to share photos and stories to honor your veteran:
1. Email a photograph to lisa.farver@patch.com.

2. Include the subject line "Veterans Day 2021."
3. Include the veteran's name, hometown, branch of service and years of service.

5. Include the phrase, "I give Patch permission to use the attached photo."
The deadline to submit a Veterans Day tribute is Nov. 8 at 5 p.m.
