How Low Did Temps Go Overnight? / More Bitter Cold This Weekend / Snow Possible Monday
Here is a look ahead at your weekend weather forecast for the Chicago area.

It’s been cold and that cold is here to stay -- at least, through the weekend.
The National Weather Service this morning reported the lowest wind chill reading for a suburban town just before 9 a.m. on Friday at O’Hare Airport, -16, with several other towns, including West Chicago, DeKalb and Wheeling, reporting wind chills as low as -14. Meanwhile, temperature readings over the past 24 hours have been … very cold. The DeKalb Airport reported a temperature of -2 while the Waukegan and DuPage airports recorded a low temp of -1.

Coming off a bitterly cold start to the New Year, it will be much of the same this weekend.
