Illinois Has 27 Of America's Fastest-Growing Companies And Many Are Hiring

The economy's on the upswing, and some of the best, fastest-growing companies could be closer than you think. In fact, they may be right in your town or nearby if you live in the Land of Lincoln. The business magazine Inc. has come out with its 2017 list of the 5,000 fastest-growing companies in America. More than two dozen of the best and brightest companies are right here in Illinois, which has 27 businesses included in Inc.'s top 500.

Inc. said it picked the fastest-growing private firms in America because they are creators. "They create companies, they create value, and they create jobs — 619,631 of them over the last three years," the report said. "You'll also discover the newest hot spots, the coolest products, and the people who make it all happen."

The top company from Illinois was founded just four years ago and has experienced a three-year growth of 12,423 percent.
