Indiana Man Accused Of Stealing Rare Comic Books At C2E2
A man from Remington stole more than $9,000 in comics from vendors at the Chicago convention, police said.

CHICAGO — An Indiana man is accused of stealing valuable comic books Saturday from C2E2 vendors in Chicago, police said. He was taken into custody Saturday evening.
Stephen Bowles, 51, of Remington, has been charged with three felony counts of theft for stealing more than $9,000 worth of rare comic books, police said.
One of the vendors caught Bowles on a surveillance camera, according to the Chicago Sun-Times, who first reported the story. Bowles, a retired mechanic, admitted to stealing the comic books after his arrest Saturday night, according to the report.

Bowles was ordered held on $10,000 bail Sunday. He's scheduled to appear in court Friday.
