James Beard Awards 2019: Chicago Nominees Named
Local talent made the cut in eight categories.
CHICAGO — The James Beard Foundation announced its list of Restaurant and Chef Award semifinalists for the 2019 James Beard Foundation Awards, and six Chicago chefs were named in the Best Chef, Great Lakes Region category.
Selected from thousands of entries in nearly 60 categories, the semifinalists represent a wide range of culinary talent.
The James Beard Award winners will be announced on Monday, May 6, at the Lyric Opera House in Chicago.
