Justin James Talks Elk Grove Rotary Fest

Elk Grove Rotary Fest starts this Wednesday and runs through Sunday. It promises to be five days of fun. There will be live music, a carnival, food, a drone light show, fireworks and more, including a wrestling card featuring six matches on Saturday.

The wrestling matches will take place from 2-4 pm. The six matches are:

Mixed Tag Team
Stonewall & Melanie Cruise vs. Hardcore Craig & Regan Lydale

Midwest Championship
Will Emory (c) vs. James Creed

Each of these matches has something really intriguing. There are old favorites, current stars and young wrestlers on the rise. Elk Grove native Stonewall is coming out of retirement to team for the first time with his sister Melanie Cruise. This is a unique opportunity to see this sibling duo in action.

Justin promises an exciting afternoon. He also promised to get in a few good shots in his match. And let's not forget Mayor Johnson, making his pro wrestling debut.

Of special note is ring announcer Mr. Riccolo. After battling health issues, Mr. Riccolo is coming back strong for his first full card of action. Have mercy!

I interviewed event organizer Justin James to get an update. Along with a quick rundown of the card and fest, Justin promised to get in some good shots in his return match.

Elk Grove Rotary Fest is always a fun time, but this wrestling card is a new added bonus. I'll be there, many of my friends will be there and I hope to see the whole area filled with wrestling fans!
