ILLINOIS — There will be several chances for light snow throughout the weekend, according to the National Weather Service. The best chance for a few inches of accumulation will be late Saturday into Sunday, the weather service said.

The first chance of snow comes Friday night, which will have a low of 11 degrees, according to the weather service. Chances for snow continue during the day on Saturday, which will be breezy with a high of 31 degrees.

There is a 90 percent chance of snow on Saturday night, which has a low of 10 degrees, the weather service said. Snow is also possible throughout the day on Sunday and into the evening.

As the work week begins, the chance for snow still sticks around on Monday, according to the weather service. Tuesday looks to be dry and sunny, but colder wind chills will move into the area Tuesday night.
