Little Hands Learning Center Preschool Hosts Fall Feast
Preschool Kicks Off Thanksgiving Season of African-American Fathers Spending Quality Time at Preschool with Their Child
Little Hands Learning Center (LHLC) is excited to once again host its Fall Feast - their annual “Dad and kids” only event fit for the prince and princesses in their lives.
It’s a fun filled morning of pre-Thanksgiving arts and crafts and a myriad of activities that Fathers (majority African American) participate in with their preschool aged children. With ages ranging from infant to six-year-old, these dads light up the faces of their little ones by dedicating their morning for quality time reading, dining and simply enjoying time as a family.
The idea for this Fall Feast came by to ensure that the stereotype of black dads not being present in the lives of their little ones wouldn’t be the case. The one way to ensure that was to create year round activities that involved dads. Their Fall Feast is the largest with over 100 dads in attendance for the fun-filled day.
