Man Caught Stealing From USPS Mailbox In Overnight Sting: Authorities
The man was in possession of a postal service key, authorities said.

CHICAGO — A man was arrested after he was caught by authorities during an overnight operation stealing from a mailbox in Chicago’s West Loop neighborhood, according to law enforcement.
Federal charges were pending against the 51-year-old who was stealing from a postal collection box Tuesday in the area of West Adams Street and South Racine Avenue, authorities said, adding the man was in possession of a postal service key.
The arrest was the result of a joint surveillance and enforcement operation by the U.S. Postal Inspection Service and the Chicago Police Department, according to authorities.
