Man Tries to Photograph Woman in Bathroom Stall With His Cellphone: Cops

The invasion of privacy happened in an office building restroom last week.

ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, IL — A man allegedly tried to use his cellphone camera to take pictures of a woman in an office building bathroom stall, according to the Arlington Heights Post.

The incident happened around 12:45 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 2, in an office in the 1600 block of West Central Road, the report stated.

The victim told Arlington Heights police that while she was using the building's first-floor women's bathroom, she noticed a hand holding a cellphone extending underneath her stall, trying to take a photo, the Post reports. That's when the victim began yelling at the unidentified man, who fled from the bathroom, the report stated. The woman then confronted the man as he ran from the building, the report added.

According to police, the man is described as having blond hair, being between 25 to 30 years old, 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighing 140 pounds, the report stated. He was last seen wearing a black T-shirt, khaki shorts, open-toed sandals and carrying a brown backpack, the report added.
