CHICAGO, IL — McDonald’s Happy Meals are leaving spooky season behind and heading into the Marvel Studios universe with a new offering inspired by “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.”
The limited-time Happy Meals launched Nov. 1. Each comes with one of 10 superhero toys based on characters from the film, including fan favorites like Shuri and Okoye and newcomers such as Namor and Ironheart, according to McDonald’s.
“The first Black Panther movie inspired a new generation of Marvel lovers,” said Jennifer Healan, vice president of U.S. marketing, brand content and engagement at McDonald’s. “It set a whole new standard for representation on the big screen. And now, we’re excited to bring that experience to our restaurants and help fans see and celebrate their inner hero with this new Happy Meal — because seeing is believing.”
