The Most Walkable Neighborhoods in Chicago Are...

CHICAGO, IL - As more and more people are opting to live near public transportation and do away with their cars, some parts of Chicago could be good options for relocation.
The map below shows the "walkability" score of each Chicago neighborhood, with 0 being the lowest and 100 the highest.

Not surprisingly, the Loop and West Loop have perfect walk scores. Neighborhoods on the North Side aren't far behind, however. Lake View and the DePaul area of Lincoln Park are both ranked at 99.
The South Side has lower walk ratings, but both Hyde Park and Gage Park each sport a 90+ score.

The far Southeast Side neighborhood of Hegewisch has the lowest walkability rate in the city with a 38.
