National Noodle Month Activities at Kizuki Ramen & Izakaya

The Wicker Park ramen shop will host a noodle and sake tasting on March 8 and a chance to win FREE ramen for a year.

Kizuki Ramen & Izakaya, the authentic Japanese ramen spot in Wicker Park, will celebrate National Noodle Month by hosting an interactive Noodle & Sake Tasting Class and giving away free ramen for a year to guests who dine at the restaurant throughout March.

The Noodle & Sake Tasting Class will be held on Thursday, March 8 at 7 p.m. where participants will learn about Japanese food and beverage craftsmanship. Led by Kizuki chef and owner Kevin Yu and sake expert Guy Cha from World Sake, the evening will feature five types of Japanese ramen noodles expertly paired with sake from World Sake Imports. Students will learn about why Shirataki Noodle (yam noodle) pairs best with Akitabare Koshiki Junzukuri or why Kale Noodle should go with Tedorigawa Yamahai Daiginjo. To purchase tickets, visit http://bit.ly/2GoPjR4.

Additionally, diners will have the chance to win FREE ramen for a year* by trying five of Kizuki's signature ramen noodles including Chuka, Tonk, Tsukemen, Shirataki and Kale. Participants will receive a card, and every time they try a different noodle option in their ramen, they will receive a stamp. If they try all five, they will receive a pair of Kizuki's custom-made chopsticks and be entered to win free ramen for year. *one ramen bowl per month from April 2018 to March 2019.
