Navy Pier to Host Pride Celebration Day Before Parade

Chicago's first LGBT celebration outside of Lake View will be an all-day event at Navy Pier Saturday.

Chicago, IL - Navy Pier will celebrate its first “Navy Pier Pride” celebration the day before the city’s 47th annual Pride Parade marches on the North Side.

“Navy Pier Pride 2016” will be the city’s first LGBT Pride celebration held outside the Lake View neighborhood, according to Navy Pier staff. The event will include a parade along the dock and entertainment performances.

It will be held all day on Saturday, from noon to 10:30 p.m.
