NBA Star's Fierce Response to Joe Walsh’s ‘Watch Out Obama’ Tweet
Chicago native and Milwaukee Bucks guard Jabari Parker said he will make sure no one touches the president.

All corners of the internet took exception to former Illinois Congressman Joe Walsh’s tweet suggesting President Barack Obama should “watch out” and that members of the national Black Lives Matter movement are “punks” Friday morning in the wake of a terrorist attack that took the lives of five Dallas Police Department officers Thursday night.
One of the most powerful responses came from NBA star Jabari Parker of the Milwaukee Bucks, a native of Chicago’s South Shore community and a former prep basketball sensation at Simeon Career Academy.
"@WalshFreedom You ain't landing a single finger on @BarackObama. No body is. Chicago and myself going to make sure of that," tweeted Parker.

Parker later deleted the tweet, which was in response to Walsh’s: "3 Dallas Cops Killed, 7 wounded. This is now war. Watch out Obama. Watch out black lives matter punks. Real America is coming for you."

Parker has been active on Twitter, and has made several references this week to police-involved fatal shootings in Louisiana and Minnesota.
"The irony of people who say 'All lives matter', while they refuse to help out the matter at hand or feel sympathetic. Confusing I know," was one posted Friday.
But Walsh isn’t backing down from his stance. Another post-Dallas tweet from Walsh read “10 Cops shot. You did this Obama. You did this liberals. You did this #BLM.”
While the tweets were deleted, it wasn’t Walsh who deleted them. Twitter did, in addition to temporarily suspending his account.
“There is a war against our cops. I think Obama and Black Lives Matter, they both contribute to this war and it’s tough the rest of fought back and stood by our cops,” Walsh told WBEZ on Friday.
He did clarify that he did not mean to advocate violence against Obama, even with the “watch out” comment.
“I knew that people would misinterpret that and I apologize to anyone who thought that I was advocating violence against Obama… That’s not what I was doing. To think I would advocate violence against Obama or anybody is idiotic and stupid and just plain wrong.”
