New "Churro Waffle" Doesn't Waffle On Taste
The Churro Waffle in Irving Park has made its debut with great combinations of American and Mexican-American food for breakfast or lunch.

The Churro Waffle has opened in Irving Park (on Irving Park Road) and it's owned & run by several family members - including Marcial Bucio and his daughter Stephanie - along with Martin Perez.
This is where you can find Mexican-American fusion, or regular American items for breakfast or lunch. In fact, their lunches include regular items if you prefer a salad or burger or panini.
Their main menu item to try is what they're named after - The Churro Waffle - which consists of the traditional Mexican-style churro as a waffle with brown sugar, butter, cinnamon, caramel sauce & sea salt caramel fudge ice cream.

An interesting note about the aforementioned Bucio & Perez owners/employees is that several of them have previous restaurant experience - some of them for decades - at the old Monastero's Ristorante in Chicago that was sold to a church last year.
The Churro Waffle (see link below) is at 2845 W. Irving Park Road in Chicago, and it's open for breakfast & lunch seven days a week from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m.
