'North Face Puffy Jacket' Bandit Robs North, South Side Banks: FBI
The FBI believes the same person robbed two banks in West Ridge on April 9 and in Garfield Ridge on April 10.

CHICAGO — The FBI Chicago Field Office is asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect believed to have robbed two banks on Chicago’s North and South Sides.
Around 3:51 p.m. Tuesday, the FBI responded to a bank robbery at the Citibank bank branch, 2801 W. Devon Avenue. At 11 a.m. Wednesday, an attempted bank robbery was made at the Chase Bank branch at 5687 S. Archer Ave.
According to witnesses, the purported bandit threatened bank employees with violence if they did not hand over money. The suspect was last seen fleeing on foot from both heists and is still at large.

The suspect is described as white male in his thirties with a medium build and complexion, and between 5-feet-6-inches and 5-feet-8-inches tall. He was last seen wearing a North Face puffy jacket with fur trim around the hood, white mask and dark pants.
Anyone who recognizes the person in bank surveillance images, or has information about the incidents, can report tips (even anonymously) at 312-421-6700 and tips.fbi.gov. Additional releasable information will be posted to Bank Robbers FBI when it becomes available.
