Edward Patrick Hedberg, Jr., age 59, of Chicago Ridge, and formerly of Bridgeport, passed away on Wednesday, July 11, 2018 at his late residence. Born in Chicago, he was the son of the late Edward Patrick, Sr. and Betty Lou (nee Davidson) Hedberg. Ed was a self employed tuck pointer and brick mason. He enjoyed cooking, grilling, fishing, good music and loved to talk.

Ed is survived by the mother of his five children, Patricia Villalobos; children, Stephanie (fiancé Chris Lancaster) Hedberg, Adam (Caitlin) Hedberg, Samantha (Robert) Novak, Ryan (Andrea Vining) Hedberg, Rebecca (Christian) Callender, Edward Maggio and Jeffrey Hedberg; nine grandchildren, Brooklynn, Brody and Isabella Hedberg, Jace and Emily Novak, Logan Waranoski-Hedberg, Evelyn Hedberg, Fallon and Cooper Callender; and three sisters, Margarie (Kyle, Sr.) Greenwell, Beverly (the late Pedro) Frias and Elizabeth (Brett) Elkins. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

He was preceded by his parents and two brothers, William Gore and Peter Hedberg, Sr.

Visitation for Edward Patrick Hedberg, Jr. will be held on Tuesday, July 17, 2018, from 3:00 p.m. until time of funeral services at 7:00 p.m., at the Fred C.
