Frankie was truly a people person who was always positive and loved to laugh and just enjoy life.

Francine "Frankie" Andrae

Age 63, late of Chicago, IL and formerly of Joliet, IL and Morris, IL passed away peacefully at the Lightways Hospice Home of Joliet.

Frankie was born in Levelland, Texas on September 20, 1958. As a very young child she moved with her family to Morris, IL. She was raised in Morris and Joliet, IL where she attended High School and graduated with the class of 1976 from Joliet West High School.

Frankie is the beloved daughter of Marie (nee Taylor) Rigby; dearest sister of Johnita "Johnnie" Andrae. She will also be missed by her beloved partner, Michael Kornegay, sister-in-law, Cathy Andrae; step-father, Gerald Whalen; step-brothers, Timothy (Deanna) Whalen, Brian (Diane) Whalen; niece, Colleen Andrae and nephew, Christopher Andrae.

Preceded in death by her brother, Jimmie (2009);

Frankie was truly a people person who was always positive and loved to laugh and just enjoy life. She enjoyed the city, rooting for the Cubs and spur-of-the-moment get-togethers.

As it was Frankie's wish, cremation rites have been accorded.

All friends and relatives are invited to join her family in celebrating her life on December 21, 2021 from 4 - 7 p.m. at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home 3200 Black Rd. (at Essington Rd.) Joliet.

In lieu of flowers memorials in her name to Lightways Hospice, PAWS of Chicago or to her family would be appreciated.
