Harry H. Nguyen, age 57, of Shorewood, IL passed away Monday, March 25, 2019 at Northwestern Memorial Hospital Chicago, with his family by his side.

Born May 9, 1961 in Vietnam, he worked as an auto technician for Manheim Chicago, Matteson, with 15 years of dedicated service.

Harry was a loving and devoted husband and father who will be missed by his family and friends. A talented mechanic, he will be remembered as a “jack of all trades.”

Surviving are his loving wife, Xuanhuong Thi Bui; two beloved daughters, Julie Nguyen and Anna Nguyen; and two brothers, Dung Nguyen and Do Nguyen.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Harry Nguyen will be celebrated on Saturday, March 30, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, 303 W. St. Mary Street, Minooka, IL. The Rev. Tuan Van-Nguyen will officiate.

Visitation will be held Saturday, from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m., at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Roads, Joliet.

Cremation rites will be accorded following services and interment will be private.
