Theresa Jesernik

Age 82, of Joliet, IL passed away Saturday, October 2, 2021, at Amita Health St. Joseph Medical Center.

She was born October 26, 1938, to the late Grace (nee Tiemens) and Wildrik Niehof in Glenwood, IL and was raised in South Holland, IL.

She is the beloved wife of nearly 60 years to the late James F. Jesernik (September 28, 2021); loving mother of Janice (Richard) Tamosiunas and James (Loretta) Jesernik. Theresa was also a devoted grandma to Kaitlin Tamosiunas and Andrew Howard; a dear sister as well as a fond aunt of several nieces and nephews.

Theresa retired from Holy Cross Hospital in Chicago after many years of dedicated service in the business office.

Visitation for Theresa will be Wednesday, October 6, 2021, from 10 a.m. until services begin at 11 a.m. at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home 3200 Black Rd. (at Essington Rd.) Joliet. Interment will follow in Risen Lord Cemetery, Oswego, IL.

In lieu of flowers memorials in her name can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
