CHICAGO — This year, March 5 might be known as Fat Tuesday around much of the country; however in the Chicago area, that day has another name: Paczki Day. Bakeries across the city have been accepting orders for the popular Polish pastries for a while, and some places have already been selling the treats for anyone looking to get a jump on the day.
