CHICAGO — Inspectors at Chicago’s Trump International Hotel recently found pooling wastewater in the kitchen and no soap in the employee bathroom, the Daily Beast reported.

The December 2025 visit yielded reports of wastewater pooling on the main kitchen floor, a dishwasher failing to sanitize dishes, flies in a rooftop bar and dish area, a cracked ice machine lid, debris in prep coolers and multiple food handlers without gloves, according to the Daily Beast.

When inspectors returned six days after citations were issued, the kitchen areas met health standards, but this isn’t the first time a Trump property has had health complaints in the last year, the outlet reported.
