PourMyBeer Secures Major Investment From Coca-Cola & Affiliates

PourMyBeer, the innovative company changing the standards of self-serve beverages, has secured a major investment from CCEP Ventures.

For anyone that has ever wanted to play bartender, one company is making the dream a reality.

PourMyBeer, an industry leader in self-serve beverage technology, has been changing the taproom standard with their tools designed to put the power into the hands of customers. These products let guests pour their own drinks, from beer to wine, cocktails, cold brew, or even kombucha - and pay by the ounce. This personalized “tasting room” experience allows for consumers to curate their own drink journey, and avoid ever being stuck with a full drink they’d rather pass on.

With their technology already making waves around the country, the Chicago-based company just received another major boost: an investment from CCEP Ventures, the investment arm of Coca-Cola European Partners. The investment is focused on establishing connection with the team at PourMyBeer, who will then introduce self-pour dispense technology to customers in Western Europe, beginning with a trial in Spain.

This expansion couldn’t have come at a better time: ITS’s technology allows consumers to pour and pay for drinks themselves – cutting down queues, reducing the need for unnecessary contact and wait times, and freeing up staff. As parts of Europe have started to ease back into public experiences, PourMyBeer’s tools will play a critical role in making these spaces safer for everyone.

It’s not just customers and staff that will benefit from this expansion, either. The partnership also represents another step forward for CCEP’s Action on Packaging strategy, launched in 2017. CCEP is committed to investing and innovating in refillable and dispensed delivery models to eliminate packaging waste and lower its carbon footprint. CCEP is looking at developing suitable dispense solutions for different environments, and the partnership with Innovative Tap Solution is a key part of this initiative.

“We’re excited to take this Self-Pour Revolution to the next level with CCEP,” says Josh Goodman, Founder & CEO of PourMyBeer. “Customers and business owners love the concept, efficiency, and experience.” There’s opportunity on the horizon between these companies - cheers to that.
