Produce Truck Overturns, Causing Oil Spill And Injuries On I-90: Police
Lanes on the Kennedy Expressway were closed for several hours due in part to an oil spill, according to Illinois State Police.

CHICAGO, IL — A semitrailer loaded with produce was involved in a crash early Wednesday on the Kennedy Expressway, resulting in an oil spill and injuries, according to police.
The produce truck overturned about 4:20 a.m. on southbound Interstate 90 near Montrose Avenue in Chicago, state police said. One person was taken to a hospital for injuries that were not life-threatening, according to police. All lanes were closed at about 5:30 a.m. to contain oil spillage on the road, but the interstate had fully reopened by 8:30 a.m., police said.
