Rain, Storms Possible Through Weekend As Drier Weather Approaches
Periodic showers are expected Friday, and isolated showers are possible both Saturday and Sunday.
ILLINOIS — A few more days of storms and showers are possible this weekend, before weather finally dries up for the work week. According to the National Weather Service, periodic showers are expected Friday, and isolated showers are possible both Saturday and Sunday.
Saturday will have a high of 82, and Sunday a high of 83, the weather service said. Temps look to start to warm back up to the high 80s on Monday and Tuesday, which will have highs of 86 and 88 degrees, respectively.
On Friday, localized torrential rainfall may lead to localized areas of flooding, mainly south of Interstate 80, according to the weather service.

After the chance of storms and showers this weekend, a quieter weather pattern will set up next week, the weather service said. Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday all look to be sunny and dry, according to the weather service forecast.
