Rain is expected on and off all week, with a chance of storms on Wednesday night and Thursday.
ILLINOIS — Temperatures will stay milder this week as rain is expected on and off throughout the week, according to the National Weather Service forecast.
Temps look to stay in the 70s all week, and a high of 74 is expected on Monday and Tuesday, a high of 76 on Wednesday, and a high of 75 on Thursday and Friday, the weather service said.
The work week will start with a chance of showers, and patchy fog is also expected after 2 a.m. Monday, according to the weather service.

A chance of showers is also possible on Tuesday, with gusts as high as 20 mph, the weather service said. There is a 20 percent chance of showers after 1 p.m.
Wednesday and Thursday both have a chance of showers, and thunderstorms are possible Wednesday night and Thursday after 1 p.m., according to the weather service.

Friday has a chance of showers as well, and a slight chance on Friday night, the weather service said.
