CHICAGO, IL — Four people were killed when at least one gunman attacked a restaurant Thursday afternoon in the 2700 block of East 75th Street.

Police said a male attacker approached Nadia Fish and Chicken and began shooting at around 3:51 p.m. Two men, 28-year-old Emmanuel Stokes and 32-year-old Edwin Davis, were found shot and unresponsive inside the restaurant.

Two brothers, Dillon Jackson, 20, and Raheam Jackson, 19, fled but were shot and killed outside the restaurant. Police found one dead outside the restaurant, while the other was murdered nearby in the 7500 block of South Coles. All four victims were pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

No one was in custody Thursday evening, according to police. Central area detectives continued to investigate the slayings, according to a Chicago Police Department spokesperson.

Police sources told the Tribune that the attack may have been in retaliation for the murder of a 37-year-old man in the 7900 block of South Phillips Avenue on Wednesday.
