Reward Up To $100,000 For Info On Letter Carrier Shooting: Authorities
Authorities released surveillance images Thursday of a person of interest who they believe may be tied to the attacks.

CHICAGO — Authorities have doubled the reward — now up to $100,000 — for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those involved in two armed robberies targeting letter carriers in northwest Chicago, one of which resulted in a postal worker being shot, officials announced Thursday.
Also Thursday, authorities released surveillance images of a person of interest who they believe may be tied to the Aug. 1 attacks. Officials urged the public not to attempt to apprehend the person independently.
The shooting occurred around 3:30 p.m. in the 3200 block of North Kildare Avenue and the second robbery happened about 15 minutes later in the 1800 block of North Sawyer Avenue, authorities have said.
