CHICAGO, IL — An apparent road rage incident proved fatal Tuesday in downtown Chicago, according to reports.

The altercation occurred about 7:45 p.m. on West Ohio Street near North Dearborn Street, where a 36-year-old man was stabbed in the neck and later died at Northwestern Memorial Hospital, police said.

The victim was one of two drivers who exited their vehicles and confronted each other, with one of the drivers stabbing the other, the Chicago Sun-Times reported, adding the injured man refused assistance and drove several blocks before stopping near a police car.
