Scenes From The 2018 Chicago Marathon

CHICAGO, IL - The 41st annual Bank of America Chicago Marathon is in the books, with thousands of runners from all corners of the world coming off the accomplishment of a lifetime.

If you know any of the runners, make sure to congratulate them. The race is the culmination of a training process that is several months long. In many cases, they were able to raise money for good causes while training and running the race.

This year, the runners battled through 29 city neighborhoods in wet conditions to reach the finish line in Grant Park. The event, which brings residents from throughout the city, features parties in different neighborhoods. As always, the mood was uplifting as the runners made their way through Lake View, Greektown, Pilsen, Chinatown and other sections of the city.

To find results, search the name or bib number of the runner you know here. Results weren't available in a town-by-town basis this year.

Take a look back at the race as it made its way through 18th Street and the Pilsen neighborhood on the South Side.

Just after Pilsen, it was onto Korea Town. There, runners were welcomed "Oppa Gangnam Style."
