CHICAGO, IL — The Illinois Department of Public Health has put together an interactive map to help residents stay up to date on cases of the new coronavirus in their neighborhoods.

The map, which users can navigate and search using either zip code or county information, identifies the number of confirmed cases of the coronavirus in each area. The map is consistently being updated as new data comes in. Only zip codes that have more than five cases are represented on the map, although it is noted that it should be assumed coronavirus exposure can happen in any zip code in the state.

As of Wednesday morning, there are 13,549 confirmed cases and 380 deaths in Illinois.
