Services Set For Fallen Chicago Police Officer At St. Andrew Orthodox Church In Edgewater
Visitation and funeral services for the fallen CPD officer will be held May 7 and May 8 at St. Andrew Greek Orthodox Church in Edgewater.
CHICAGO—Services are set for Chicago Police Officer John Bartholomew, who tragically died in the line of duty last Saturday.
Visitation will be held from 2 to 8 p.m. Thursday, May 7. The funeral will take place from 10 a.m. to noon, Friday, May 8, at, 5649 N. Sheridan Road, Chicago.
Bartholomew was a 10-year, 11-month veteran of the Chicago Police Department. He leaves a wife and three children.

“He was deeply dedicated to his work as a Chicago police officer, serving his community with honor, integrity, and an unwavering sense of duty,” according to his obituary.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the John Bartholomew Memorial Fund at the National Police Federal Credit Union, 1407 W. Washington Blvd. Chicago, IL 60607
