Several Chicago Radio Personalities Laid Off By Alpha Media
Those affected include Anthony Koris, of Star 96.7, and 21-year veteran Frank Wright, of 102.3 XLC.
CHICAGO, IL — Several Chicago area radio personalities are off the air, at least for now, following cuts at Alpha Media stations across the region such as Star 96.7, 102.3 XLC and Q Rock 100.7.
Tom Kief of 95 WIIL Rock’s morning show on Tuesday addressed the “reduction in force,” noting his colleague, Stino Cirigliano, was among those laid off.
“A lot of very talented and hardworking individuals were separated from the company yesterday,” Kief said. “Stino was on that list. I already miss her.”
