Severe Storms Possible Tuesday; Dry Rest Of Week In Store For IL

ILLINOIS — After a dry, pleasant weekend, temperatures in the 70s are expected for most of the week. The exception is Tuesday, when highs of 88 degrees are expected, and severe thunderstorms are possible, according to the National Weather Service.

The best chance for storms is roughly southeast of a Waukegan to Ottawa line, the weather service said.
Wednesday and Thursday will both have highs of 78 degrees, and Friday has a high of 80, according to the weather service. The latter half of the week is expected to be sunny and dry.
